We’re Back On It!!!
Me and Micha are back at it!!! It feels great to shoot things that I want to personally shoot that are fun and or creative! I don’t get to do these as much as I use to (that’s about to change!!!) so it’s very refreshing being free to be me again. Too many times people around where I live think they have me figured out, but you can’t ever box me in. My passion is and has always been deeply rooted in all things artistic first and foremost. I wanted to post this series of my younger brother that I shot back in October of 2008 to illustrate the point that often times photographers have to create something out of nothing. I find myself having to do this more than I’d actually like too, but it also serves as proof that an idea created at the last minute can work in your favor as it pushes you to be creative at a moments notice. The outcome can be very satisfying in the end.

I love so many shots from this shoot I decided to share a few more of my favorites with you. The beauty of shooting with children like this is the freedom you have to just move around and shoot. No directing, no hair & makeup, no fancy settings, just let them roam freely, have fun and capture it. It is definitely a challenge, but very rewarding in the end.
