Happy birthday to my beautiful model and friend Juliette Johnson.
Me and Micha are back at it!!! It feels great to shoot things that I want to personally shoot that are fun and or creative! I don’t get to do these as much as I use to (that’s about to change!!!) so it’s very refreshing being free to be me again. Too many times people around where I live think they have me figured out, but you can’t ever box me in. My passion is and has always been deeply rooted in all things artistic first and foremost. Concept by Micha Robinson. Inspired by the movie Black Swan.
This is the first part from a series of pictures featuring Chloe Dior shot in the fall of 2008. This was a very fun and interesting collaboration between myself and makeup artist Shon Sanks. These pictures represent some of my first shoots after making the transition from Illinois to Columbus GA. More from this set coming soon.
Break the stereotypes! Don’t let anything stop you from achieving your dreams! Sometimes in life things happen quite differently than we planned them but, you can overcome obstacles and transform “negative” situations into a positive ones. Having children may slow you down but should never stop you. I know it can be very difficult, but take control and step into your own brighter future!!!!
Here is the incredibly lovely and sexy Jessica cooling off during our first beach shoot together.
This is a shot of my beautiful model and good friend Roxie, aka Chloe Dior, adjusting her pearls during our Oil & Water shoot.
Here’s a fun shot of my gorgeous model Lidia taken during our first waterfall shoot in the fall of 2009.
Here’s a shot of a beautiful young lady that I work with often named Capricia. I shot this image of her during a short break from her very first shoot when I noticed how nice she looked just resting and waiting for me to start again. I like to call these shots “Beautiful Outtakes” I really love the makeup my wonderful artist Nichele provided for this shoot as well.
As summer begins to wind down I look back at one of my most relaxing vacations this year with happy memories. I wish I could stay there forever…..
A simple shot of a flower I took on a visit back home to Illinois. Sometimes the most simple things can be the most beautiful if we just take notice.
I wanted to post this series of my younger brother that I shot back in October of 2008 to illustrate the point that often times photographers have to create something out of nothing. I find myself having to do this more than I’d actually like too, but it also serves as proof that an idea created at the last minute can work in your favor as it pushes you to be creative at a moments notice. The outcome can be very satisfying in the end.

I love so many shots from this shoot I decided to share a few more of my favorites with you. The beauty of shooting with children like this is the freedom you have to just move around and shoot. No directing, no hair & makeup, no fancy settings, just let them roam freely, have fun and capture it. It is definitely a challenge, but very rewarding in the end.
