Introduction Into My Food Category; Grillin’

I love to cook! One fact about me most people don’t know is that since I was child I’ve always wanted to attend Culinary Art School. Preparing food is an art, it’s both challenging and very interesting to me. There are quite a few really good cooks in my family so I’ve always had great influences to draw inspiration from. Although I’ve never stepped foot in any cooking classes, I live out my chef fantasies within my kitchen, preparing meals daily for myself and family. I’ve always documented meals that I feel look especially appetizing whether I made it or not, but, I wanted to dedicate a category here on my blog in which I can share these unreleased photos with the world. First up are just a few from this spring as my family and I kicked off our grilling season. Funny thing is, being from Illinois has never prevented me from firing up my grill no matter what season it is! I was raised in a family that would grill in the middle of a Midwest winter in 10 feet of snow, a blizzard, whatever!!! As long as the the charcoal can be lit, we’re going to grill no matter how hot or cold it is outside! Now that I live in Georgia my friends think it’s unheard of for me to go outside in freezing temperatures to grill but I love grilled food so much, plus Georgia winter is NOTHING like Illinois winter so it’s very easy for me to grill year round. Well, I will continue to update my adventures in food from this point forward so be sure to check back often if you love the sight of delicious looking foods straight from my kitchen and from all of my travels. And remember, it’s always a great time to grill!
