Every time I work with this woman we create images that end up being some of my favorites! Our latest shoot is no exception!

Happy 2014 to everyone all over the world! I wish you all peace, love and happiness!
As for me, I’m going to start the year the same way I ended it…by doing exactly what I want to do! What I want to do right now is share a black and white conversion of model Taelor Moore that I shot a few months ago. Taelor isn’t a “bad girl” at all, she a good girl. I chose the title simply because the shoot was inspired by Rihanna. We both love Rihanna and to me Taelor can bear a very close resemblance to the famous singer. Hey Taelor, if you’re reading this? We’re past due for another round! Let’s do it!!!
Merry Christmas to you all! I had a wonderful day today! I spent the day in unseansonably warm weather shooting with my aunt Robin. We were able to navigate the city in peace and quiet since most people were inside eating and celebrating with their families. Even more important than the pictures we were able to capture today was the experience of being out together as family enjoying each others company, and doing something we both love. Doing what you love is great but, doing it with someone you love makes it even better! Below is just a sample of some of the shots that I captured. I hope you enjoy them. Please be safe and enjoy the rest of your holidays!
Happy Holidays to everyone! I met these 4 young men while out shooting with a model one day over the summer. They explained to me that they’re a rap group but, that they were also willing to do whatever they could to make it, even basketball. I let them know that they can achieve anything they put their minds to and to never limit themselves. They asked if I was a photographer, and I replied yes. They proceeded to quickly huddle together to give me their best poses. I snapped a couple of frames and showed them the pics on the lcd. They LOVED the pics, thanked me kindly, and I wished them all good luck and success in whatever they choose to do. I love meeting good people of all ages, and photography allows me to do so all while making a brief connection in the process.

I captured this shot of my son with the reflection on the roof of the car while visiting a friend’s trailer style home during sunset a few weeks ago.
Frost has started to build up on the plants and leaves early every morning in my neighborhood.
Another black and white shot from my daughter’s first shoot.
Good afternoon all! Here are 2 shots of the beautiful Ms. Jessica Murphy taken this summer for a series I planned on doing about women in sundresses. More to come soon.

Happy Hump Day everyone! Today I’d like to share an image taken while in the passengers seat with the window down, in freezing weather, going 70mph. We were driving along the highway in Cartersville Georgia and I noticed these cows at the last second. I quickly rolled down the window, aimed my phone and took the shot. This was the result. I thought it was kinda cool because of the motion blur in the foreground and along the fence. Due to our speed the fence appears to be slanted. Shots like this don’t come along as often as I’d like but, when they do I try hard to pay enough attention to try and capture them.
Hello once again everyone! Last night I went out on a very fun photo excursion with my aunt for the first time in downtown Columbus. It was very cold, about 43 degrees, and the wind was whipping hard. There weren’t as many people out as usual but, there were a group of drummers and singers out performing on the stage that sits right in the middle of downtown. They were singing Christmas songs, and imporvisiong instrumentals. Among the few people out enjoying the music as well as the atmosphere were 2 very cool hula hoopers. Pictured here is the second hula hooper. I found her to be interesting because, she was able to continuously hula hoop for about 20-25 minutes despite the freezing temperatures that continued to drop as the sun disappeared. I’ll try to post pics of the first hooper later as she was the one who performed the most tricks and proved her endurance by hooping to the music for hours, even well into the night.

Happy Throwback Thursday everyone! I just wanted to drop in and share a few remixed black and white photos of Ms. Taelor Moore from earlier this year. These were 2 of my personal favorites from this particular session. I hope you all enjoy.
A quick family portrait I shot of my good model friend Vanessa Cobb, boyfriend Fred Howard, and puppy Armani.

Since this year is almost over I’d like to start sharing some of my favorite images of this year. First up, one of my absolute favorite people to work with Ms. Nadia Jenkins. Taken on a very hot summer day, the shoot was almost ruined by rain but, I told Nay she’d bring the sunshine out with her smile, and well…here’s just one of the resulting shots. Photographers always have their own reasons as to why they like a particular image, it doesn’t have to be technically correct it just needs to trigger an emotion of some kind or please their eyes. This image makes me happy. For that reason I’d to thank you Nay! 🙂
I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend? I wanted to share a few images of these little guys that were everywhere while I was in Florida. They were out in the rain, wind, heat, it didn’t matter. I think they were all starving because I saw them fighting constantly! I think I have a few shots of one of the battles? I’ll check…maybe I’ll add them later? That’s it for now, enjoy.
Here are some more random sights from my recent trip to Florida during the Thanksgiving holiday. This post represents the most pics I’ve shared at once ever! I had a great time walking around shooting these images and I hope you all enjoy them as well.
Good Monday morning everyone! I’m back home from my much needed vacation in sunny Florida. Traveling to the beaches of Florida in the fall for the holidays has become somewhat of a tradition in my family. This trip started off a little rainy and gloomy, but quickly turned into the usual beautiful weather that we’re accustom to, although the temperatures were not as high as last year. This has been a very pressing year for me. It feels as if I’ve done everything I DID NOT want to do this year and to be totally honest, I’m glad it’s finally coming to an end. Of course a week’s vacation can’t possibly undo a years worth of stress, frustration, setbacks and obstacles but, it has allowed me a moment to relax, reflect and prepare myself for the coming year. I’ve really shifted my focus photographically, emphasizing my interest in other facets of photography other than models. Doing so has allowed me the freedom to express myself the way I choose, as well as reconnect with the simple principles of truly being a freelance photographer, not being tied down to one category. Like a lot of others, this is how I began photography. My career began by just walking around and shooting whatever I thought was interesting and trying to capture it in what I felt was a creative way. Although I will continue to work with models, I will be ultra selective in who I actually decide to give my time to, and I will continue to pursue my own interests. My blog has become and will continue to be a place where I express and share ANYTHING I capture that I feel warrants interest. With that being said, I’d like to share a few images taken while on vacation (you know photographers are never really on vacation right?) As time permits I will post more images from this trip within the coming days. Please enjoy.
I love fall! I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, it’s my favorite time of the year! I’m thankful we’ve actually had a fall season here in Georgia this year because, usually everything dies too soon and I don’t get a chance to enjoy the wonderful fall colors along with the moderate temperatures. Despite being sick for the past week and a half I’ve tried to capture as much of the fall colors as possible whenever I go out. I need more before their all gone!!!
The stunningly beautiful Veyonce!!!
